For many, the whole month has felt like a Full Moon. For those with planets or angles around 11° of Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius, this Full Moon may feel especially intense.
The Full Moon brings culmination and illumination to what the New Moon initiated. We receive the clarity around where things are leading. And there’s little ambiguity with this Full Moon.
With the light of the full moon, we have more visibility and with that comes more awareness, knowledge and perhaps an inability to ignore what’s emerged. If we see it as an invitation, it helps, an opportunity to make clearer decisions, choosing to work with the emergent material or set it aside.
The Taurus–Scorpio axis highlights the tension between what is mine and what is shared. Taurus centres on personal value, stability, and what we consider our own. Scorpio draws our attention to entanglement—shared resources, emotional bonds, and the deeper exchanges that bind us together.
What becomes visible now is where these two have become confused or imbalanced.
At its core, this Full Moon asks a simple but revealing question: what is actually yours to carry, and what has become blurred, beyond that point?
There is a stronger emotional charge to this lunation, especially since Scorpio rarely stays on the surface. Scorpio draws attention to what has been building underneath, or behind the scenes, particularly where control, attachment, or unspoken dynamics are at play.
This might feel somewhat exposing, where we didn’t see our foolishness, or consider our potential vulnerability, or others’ vulnerability. Where we have been avoiding realities, the dawn breaks through. Situations that have been tolerated or managed will now start asking for more direct engagement or decisions. The emphasis here is on what is no longer sustainable. So where we have been holding on, we may be asked to release and relinquish. It’s a deeper alignment to trust, essentially.
Earlier this month we had the Mars–Saturn conjunction, which was a big reality check for many people—a defining influence, for better or worse. This Full Moon might bring a continuation of that forward. It’s as though we have been running ahead of reality with Mars pushing forward, and Saturn insisting on structure, timing, and accountability.
When they come together, there is little tolerance for illusory thinking, forcing or impatience. Instead, we have bring attention towards longer-term strategies, the long fight. For some, it brought forth a descent into deeper levels of truth, reality or even pattern breaking. Clarifying how to approach circumstances differently so that actual change can take place. This was a strongly grounding influence. It’s worth recognising what this has been asking of you, even if you’re still in the thick of it, and identifying the strength or clarity that is beginning to emerge from that pressure cooker combination.
There is also a wider backdrop building at this time, linked to the growing intensity of information and mental stimulation. The major shift we have now is Uranus into Gemini beginning a seven-year cycle. It’s important to note that Uranus in Gemini occurs roughly every 84 years and previous periods have coincided with major global turning points, including the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the Second World War.
The pace at which we are taking in, processing, and responding to information has increasing exponentially, and we are feeling the effects of that. It is not just the volume, but the speed and fragmentation. Our attention is pulled in multiple directions, making it harder to stay with what is real and directly in front of us.
The major shift we have now is Uranus into Gemini beginning a seven-year cycle that shifts us even further in this fragmentation, if we are not careful. Although there are many positives. It’s important to note that Uranus in Gemini occurs roughly every 84 years and previous periods have coincided with major global turning points, including the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and the Second World War.
The common thread across these periods is rapid escalation in how information, technology, and coordination operate. When communication accelerates, situations develop quickly. There are already signs of rising tension globally, and while it is too early to define what this period will become, the pattern suggests that what is beginning now is unlikely to remain contained. It’s not a time to sit in any naivety.
And the role of information—how it is produced, shared, and interpreted—becomes central to how our lives unfold. Too much input, and clarity is diluted, giving space for reactions replacing deeper consideration. So at this early juncture of Uranus in Gemini, it’s good to note how this influence is affecting our perception and responses.
Within this acceleration of information, there is also a more personal layer to our experience. Mercury’s conjunction with Chiron and Eris around this Full Moon points to the difficulty many are having in making sense of what is unfolding.
With a lot coming in at once, and the confusion this generates, it is worth pausing with that, rather than immediately trying to resolve it. Sometimes confusion in us functions as distancing— so we have some space between us and what is becoming clear. A high pace paired with big implications, mean it is easier to remain in uncertain/confused territory than to fully accept what’s dawning. So we need to ask ourselves: is there a lack of clarity, or is there actually clarity but we don’t want to fully acknowledge it.
At the same time, we are encountering things which cannot be easily explained and so not everything will make immediate sense. A big part of the current process is staying with what is unresolved, and trusting its unfoldment.
This Full Moon is also intensified by Pluto’s station retrograde a few days later. When an outer planet slows to change direction, its symbolism becomes louder. Pluto’s themes of power, control, exposure, and deep change are strongly present around this time, adding intensity into the mix.
This makes the Full Moon less about a passing emotional peak and more about a deeper reckoning with what power means for us personally. Where we give it away? Where have you given away your own authority to forces outside? Where is safety or attachments tied to maintaining situations that no longer feels true for you?
For those with placements around 4–6° of these signs, Pluto’s station may be activating deeper, longer-term changes that are still unfolding.
Alongside all of this, many are experiencing a form of descent. This can show up in the unexpected throwing us off track, a sense of being pulled into deeper, less familiar territory or feelings. It is not isolated to individuals. This is a wider pattern at play.
This is especially noticeable for those with strong Eris or Black Moon Lilith placements or transits. This is because these points are associated with what has been pushed to the edges—parts and expressions that have been excluded, suppressed or minimalised, in hiding, forbidden and forgotten. Under the current larger collective shifts, and in the astrology, those parts are essential for the reclamation of the body, the instinctual world, and the depth of the feminine.
The Scorpio Full Moon already draws attention to all that we or society has made taboo. This rarely arrives in a controlled or comfortable way and often feels disruptive or disorienting at first when it makes contact with us. The answer is always to trust that being in contact with these places is only for our benefit. And not seeing them as a problem to fix, but a homecoming.
This is why the experience can feel like a descent—a collective Inanna moment, those who haven’t been at the seventh gate are preparing to enter. And what cannot pass through will be stripped. As the dark goddess moves through the collective body, it is preparing us for a different kind of sovereignty. Whatever people think, this is not in opposition to the light goddess—rather a necessary precursor. Inanna cannot become queen of heaven and earth without Ereshkigal’s initiation. The light cannot be fully embodied without the descent first.
And spirals and cycles are always the path of the soul — the truth beneath the locked-in linear journey we are all immersed within in western society. As we connect more with our soul’s truth, we move into areas and ways that are less definable, less familiar, yet often carry very direct and crucial access to truth.
As the cycles moves forward, the meeting of Mercury with the Sun, just before the next New Moon, brings a much needed point of clarity. This should be a point where there is a greater ability to understand and articulate what has been deeply unfolding in April. It might not remove the intensity, but allows for putting things into perspective and context. This will stand as a soothing moment.
This Full Moon is not asking for immediate resolutions or answers. What is seen now may not be comfortable, but it is what we need to see and will take us forward on our path to greater internal and external freedom.
How will this Scorpio Full Moon affect you
Aries Sun/Rising
Relationships come into focus under this Full Moon, especially where there are shared commitments or emotional entanglements. You may start to see more clearly how energy is being exchanged between you and others, and where that has tipped out of balance. This can bring a more honest view of trust, boundaries, and what you’re no longer willing to carry. It may also become clear that you have more influence in a situation than you first thought.
Taurus Sun/Rising
This Full Moon highlights your relationships and how you meet others in partnership. You may notice where dynamics have shifted, or where expectations are no longer matching up. There’s a chance here to be more honest about what you’re actually available for, and what you’re not. It’s also worth keeping an eye on projection, especially where reactions feel strong or immediate.
Gemini Sun/Rising
Daily routines, work, and wellbeing come into focus, particularly where things have become draining or unsustainable. You may start to see more clearly where your time and energy are being used, and what needs adjusting. Practical changes can make a real difference here. You might also notice that your way of thinking or approaching things doesn’t quite line up with those around you—and that’s useful to recognise.
Cancer Sun/Rising
Creative expression, enjoyment, and what actually brings you to life are highlighted here. You may realise how much this has been pushed to the side recently, especially if responsibility has taken over. There’s an opening to reconnect with what feels real and satisfying again. It’s worth letting this grow quietly before trying to define or share it too quickly.
Leo Sun/Rising
Home, family, and your personal foundations come into focus, bringing a clearer sense of what feels stable and what doesn’t. You may recognise where something needs to shift in your private life, even if it’s been left alone for a while. Strengthening this area supports everything else. There may also be a clearer sense of what feels fair—or not—in close relationships.
Virgo Sun/Rising
Communication becomes more direct, and conversations may carry more weight than usual. You could find that something becomes clearer simply by saying it out loud, or by listening properly to what’s being said. There’s less room to avoid what’s obvious now. Alongside this, you may recognise where you need more independence within certain relationships.
Libra Sun/Rising
Finances and personal resources come into focus, especially how you’re managing what you have and what it actually means to you. You may see where adjustments are needed to feel more stable or secure. Decisions made now can have a longer-term impact, so it’s worth paying attention. It’s also useful to notice what feels genuinely right versus what just sounds convincing.
Scorpio Sun/Rising
This Full Moon takes place in your sign, so it brings things close to home. You may see more clearly what has changed within you, and what no longer fits in the same way. There’s an opportunity here to let go of what you already know isn’t true for you anymore. It also helps to question where you might still be holding onto something out of habit rather than honesty.
Sagittarius Sun/Rising
This Full Moon draws you inward, bringing attention to what’s been sitting below the surface. You may become more aware of patterns or feelings that haven’t been fully acknowledged. Taking some space to reflect can help you see what’s ready to be released. There may also be a moment where recognising the truth of something means you can’t ignore it anymore.
Capricorn Sun/Rising
Friends, networks, and your longer-term direction come into focus. You may start to see more clearly where you fit, and where you don’t, within certain groups or shared goals. This can help you make more aligned decisions going forward. It may also bring up questions around trust—who or what you actually believe in.
Aquarius Sun/Rising
Career and public life are highlighted, bringing a clearer sense of where you stand and how things are being seen. You may recognise where a change is needed, or where something isn’t moving in the way you want. What becomes visible now can shape your next steps. It’s important to be intentional about change, rather than reacting to pressure to keep things moving.
Pisces Sun/Rising
This Full Moon widens your perspective, bringing more clarity around where you’re heading and what actually matters to you. You may start to see the difference between what feels meaningful and what doesn’t. This can shift how you approach future plans. At the same time, you may notice that some options feel aligned, while others clearly don’t—even if both are still available.
