Lady of the Stars

Sirius is a celestial goddess,

a star of unconditional love and wisdom

at an extremely high vibration.

She brings deep soul awakening

spiritual gifts and a high capacity

of divine service.

She asks you to pay attention,

because something significant

is taking place at a spiritual level for you

at this time.

Seven of Cups

Illusion and disillusion.

Dive deep into the hazy realm of illusions. Play with your desires, dreams, and illusions.

This is the realm of unlimited opportunity.

Let go of all details, observe everything at once.

See the entire web of your fantasies.

Journey through the many layers of imagined images and desires.

Find their source.

Where do your desires originate?

From where do they receive their nourishment?

Watch the fragile web of delusions, illusions, desires and feelings drift by.

Don’t interfere.

Be in harmony with the rhythm of change.

The Medallion

The passing on of sacred objects is an ancient ritual within families, between lovers, and in tribes across the globe.

We gift jewels, treasures, keepsakes, and mementos of all kinds…some of great material value, others that hold emotional resonance, and still others with both.

Yet when these gifts are bestowed upon us, it is important to recognise that they may bind us to an unspoken agreement or promise.

When the Medallion card appears, be aware of how the objects you hold dear may be embedded with unconscious energy or expectations. Materials hold consciousness, and it’s time to reconcile the vibration of the objects around you.

What do you covet and collect? Why? Is there an object you have held on to for years that you are ready to release? Perhaps it is time to reach for The Medallion that aligns with your deepest values.

When light it is upholding tradition, protecting, honouring. When dark it is burdensome inheritance, habituation.

32 – The Way of Preservation

This hexagram is called Constant, and combines the trigrams Chen and Sun, thunder and wind. What is failure? We need to see that there is no such thing as failure, that what we perceive as failure is always a gift in disguise. Is failure a missing of purpose – to live a whole life without a true sense of purpose? The highest purpose we humans have is to live well. The dilemma here is panic. Panic is a subtle vibration that emanates from fear, from a deep forgetting of who we are. Panic leads us down the road of failure. On an inner level, it’s about how we make decisions in our daily life. To live well and savour more moments, to sip from the arc of eons, to revel in the riot of colour that’s our life, to see the poetics of nature and not pass them by. That’s the art of living well. When we panic, we move too fast. We need to take our time with things. Be contemplative. Then we’re outside the loop of failure. The only failure is to miss our higher purpose. If there’s such a thing as success, it’s this – to live without panic – to let life in. Failure can be a portal to many possibilities. It’s really an illusion of our perception. Our panic about dying drives us to try and preserve our life through selfishness. The question is will we allow ourself and our illusions to be shattered? When we trust in life enough, we allow events to shatter us and that reframes our view. The great inner question becomes what is essential and what needs preserving – love, truth, virtue, forgiveness? The Gift of Preservation is all about continuity and grafting, then it brings transformation. It requires a great deal of self-discipline. It’s all about our ability to listen inwardly to the Truth inside us.
