Libra New Moon 2026 – Card Guidance

Published on: 1 Oct, 2026

TAKING THIS JOURNEY INTO SOVEREIGNTY DEEPLY INTO OUR OWN HEART WISDOM

This Libra New Moon draws us into a sovereignty rooted in trust, vision and the courage to step beyond the familiar. With the Fool, there is an invitation to meet life at the threshold of the unknown, allowing a deeper inner direction to emerge as old structures give way to aliveness and spontanteity. Vision is a guiding force here: the sense of a path calling us forward, revealed through imagination, synchronicity and a subtle recognition of when you are deeply aligned. At the same time, as Venus continues her retrograde in deep Scorpio, we are being asked to enter the cauldron of relationship and community, but now with greater honesty. We bring hidden material into awareness so that a more organic harmony can arise. While Libra seeks balance through relationship, this lunation points towards a balance born from individual freedom, self-trust and connection that is true to self and the other. The journey into sovereignty requires us to follow a vision that belongs uniquely to ourselves, so step willingly into new terrain, and trust that a deeper order can emerge as each person stands more fully within their own being.

The Fool

You are young and far away

from home.

A glittering crack,

heaven,

sun,

and clouds,

and foaming waters.

The elements at play.

Blue breath.

Risk finding the way to yourself.

Engage yourself where chaos begins,

where you stand alone

and without help facing life.

The Vision

It is said that we are each born with a unique vision, a destiny toward which we are aimed.

It is also said that we forgot this vision the moment we are born…thus we are sent on a lifelong journey of rediscovery.

Such is the elusive nature of The Vision. It slips away, yet it guides. It appears in strange dreams and surreal images, seemingly unattainable and preposterous.

When we are connected to The Vision, we carry an inspired, enchanted aliveness that others recognize. We trust the world and its synchronicities. We walk through new doors into wondrous opportunities.

We all want to be near those with vision. They emit energy more potent than any elixir. When we lose connection to The Vision, life becomes dull and exhausting, lacking meaning.

Bring back the mystery, bring back the dreams. When light it is potent imagination, synchronicity, trust. When dark it is disconnected from art and dreams, listless, aimless.

50 – The Cauldron

This hexagram is called the Cooking Pot, and combines the trigrams Li and Sun, fire and wind. Once you create a law, you create a rebel. Hierarchy is a low frequency attempt to maintain order within a community. Hierarchy springs from fear. Whereby harmony exists at its highest vibration. We have all been put in the cauldron. All races, families – different beliefs, values thrown together. We are striving to move beyond the corruption we see, as a result of hierarchy – one thing being above another.

Yet we are all equal. But we believe we either fall into either victim or villain consciousness – depending on your perspective. We feel either empowered or powerless. It doesn’t really matter where you belong, both give rise to the other. We give away our accountability, or we become irresponsible. The key to going beyond this and establishing harmony in the world is intimacy and honesty. We are here to balance the ingredients in the pot, get clear on the soup.

Creating a heterarchy requires individual freedom and trust in the self-organising intelligence that emerges from that freedom. Creating harmony is about music, symphony, rhythms. This happens inside and outside. Our deep, hidden shadow must be brought to light, from the cauldron of chaos, so we can touch cosmic order.
